It was a pleasure to welcome Karen Reidy, Chief of Advocacy and Communication, UNICEF Pakistan, during her visit to the National Press Club, where she had meeting with President Abdur Razzaq Sial, Secretary Dr. Furqan Rao, and Joint Secretary Shakila Jalil.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between UNICEF Pakistan and the National Press Club, with particular emphasis on capacity-building initiatives and professional training opportunities for journalists and Club members. Both sides exchanged views on promoting quality journalism, enhancing professional skills, and fostering responsible media practices through future joint initiatives. We focused on health communication and child rights advocacy through media.
We look forward to building a strong and enduring partnership that contributes to the professional growth of journalists and supports the broader goal of informed, ethical, and impactful journalism.
